NOOR
Noor is a protest puppet made in response to the ongoing genocide against Palestinians. She functions as a larger-than-life symbol of resistance, solidarity, and humanity. Her presence at protests reminds us that the world we are fighting for is full of creativity, warmth, and imagination.

BREAD + PUPPET APPLICATION 2024
This fold-out paper puppet served as my application to Bread and Puppet’s August 2024 apprenticeship. Her (my) heart folds out to reveal an accordion style booklet detailing my search for home and artistic self with references to the symbols and scenes illustrated throughout the puppet’s body.
